New Quick and Easy Way for Parents to Send in Absence Notes to CLES
While you can continue to send in a paper note excuse to your child’s teacher when your child is absent, we are launching a new email address to receive and archive absence excuse notes.
Email CLESabsence@hcpss.org
Include your child(ren)’s FIRST and LAST name in the subject line.
Include the date(s) your child(ren) was absent.
Include the reason for absence.
Include the name of the homeroom teacher.
Include doctor’s notes or other documentation as attachments if needed.
OPTIONAL- Copy your child’s teacher and the health office (kathleen_will@hcpss.org and siobhanzarek@hcpss.org) if you there is a health issue you would like the teacher and health office to be aware of as a result of the absence.
We hope that CLESabsence@hcpss.org is an easier way for parents to provide documentation for student absences.
NOTE: Do not use this email to notify the school of dismissal changes or early dismissals. This email address is for full day absences only.
